How fast is the internet really?

When a resident’s device is plugged directly into the wall-jack, Fiberwave will consistently deliver 1Gbps or 2Gbps depending on whether there’s cat5/6 or fiber run to the wall-jack. Using a Fiberwave provided WiFi-6 router, residents can expect 600 Mbps wirelessly. Speeds may vary depending on the resident’s devices.

What happens when the internet goes down?

In most cases Fiberwave will know about an internet outage before onsite management. Most common causes for outages are loss of power and accidental damage to the wiring infrastructure. Fiberwave has a team dedicated to communicating the cause of the outage and the timeline for restoration of the internet to your managers and residents.

Who handles technical issues?

Fiberwave has a US based – 24/7 customer service team that will resolve all resident and management issues.

How do we get onsite service?

If our customer service determines that onsite service is needed, then we will dispatch a Fiberwave technician or certified partner to the community to remedy the problem.

Is there anything we can do to future proof our property??

Yes! We’d recommend running fiber to each unit. This will allow for speeds of 2Gbps.
